U.S. first lady shares secrets on Glamour

U.S. President Barack Obama, first Lady Michelle Obama, and their daughters, Malia (R) and Sasha (2nd L), sit for a family portrait in the Green Room of the White House, in this September 1, 2009 photograph released on October 23, 2009.

U.S. first lady Michelle Obama, who is also a fashion star, graces the December cover of Glamour magazine, according to media reports Thursday.

Michelle Obama shared her rules for finding Mr. Right on the new issue Glamour magazine, out November 10, and offered some dating advice.

"Cute's good," the First Lady told Glamour. " But cute only lasts for so long, and then it's, Who are you as a person? Don't look at the bankbook or the title," she said. "Look at the heart. Look at the soul."

The first lady said that President Barack Obama helps her feel "whole."

Interviewed by new Glamour columnist and CBS anchor Katie Couric, Mrs. Obama said being a role model is one of the most potentially powerful things she can do at the White House.

"I see how little bits of exposure and big bits of exposure really change my girls significantly, and I want that for more girls around the country and the world," she said.
