More human nature is revealed in the revolutionary war epic “My Beloved China", which is about to hit the big screen. The name of the film is a quote from martyr Fang Zhimin's famous poem, and the film chronicles his glorious career. Tsing Hua University held a release party for the film on Monday.
Director Hu Xueyang was in attendance at the release, with lead actor Ren Chengwei, actress Wang Yajie, and actor Cheng Qian. They talked with the teachers and students from Tsing Hua University about the movie.
Ren Chengwei is quite similar to his hero Fang Zhimin, both in looks and facial expression. That aroused even more curiosity from the students about the stories both on and off screen. Cheng Qian, who is familiar to Chinese audiences as a TV host, plays a supporting role in this film. But he has honed his acting skills recently in the revolutionary-themed TV series "Peking's War and Peace".
